NQ Scottish History

Perspective

The Reformation has been a significant event in shaping Scotland's history. Consequences of the events from the period resonate even 450 years after they occurred.

However, Scotland's religious make-up and public attitudes towards religion have changed a great deal in recent times, and the Reformation holds a different kind of significance than it did even 50 years ago. In some cases this has led to new interpretations of characters and events of the period.
