Letters from a World War I pilot

This is the first letter from pilot J. Edward Tennant of the Royal Flying Corps (Scots Guard) describing a skirmish with the Germans in which his plane was hit.

This is the second letter from pilot J. Edward Tennant of the Royal Flying Corps (Scots Guard) describing the capture of an enemy aircraft and the excitement of living at the front lines.

This is the third letter from pilot J. Edward Tennant of the Royal Flying Corps (Scots Guard) as he tells about the destruction of his entire battalion at the hand of the Germans. He also relates the fate of many of his friends who were killed in action.
